CBDC’s Awards Event recognizes the accomplishments of 5 outstanding Cambridge-based companies and one long-time supporter of Cambridge entrepreneurship.
The Awards
- Shining Star in Technology and General Business
The Shining Star awards are presented to one technology company and one general business in existance for a minimum of 7 years that are considered excellent in their fields and contribute significantly to the Cambridge community.
- Rising Star in Technology and General Business
The Rising Star awards are presented to businesses at least 3 years old – one technology company and one general business. These companies display impressive records of growth, continue with significant involvement of the founders, show future promise, and contribute to the Cambridge community in some way.
- Neighborhood Star
A viable, neighborhood-based business that employs local people and impacts the community in a significant manner is eligible to win this category. Businesses must not be venture- or angel-backed.
- Supporter of Cambridge Entrepreneurship
This award is presented to an individual or organization with a long and consistent track record of assisting Cambridge entpreneurs.
